"El Conguero" embodies the richness of Mixe (mee-heh) culture, a mystic culture from the Northern Sierra of Oaxaca that have always been deeply rooted in music & the visual arts. These worldwide exponents of superb textile craftsmanship allude to themselves as "the never conquered ones" -because of their remoteness, they were never reached by the Spanish Conquest.

The musical ensemble portrayed is that which exists inside this particular bottle: there is variety, magic and celebration.
